1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Ayurvedic Chikitsalaya website (http://store.ayurvedicchikitsalaya.in/), mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Platform.

2 Eligibility

To use our Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent/legal guardian.
• Be a resident of India with a valid delivery address within our serviceable areas.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

3 User Account & Registration

When you create an account on our Platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information.
• Keep your password secure and confidential.
• Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided proves to be inaccurate, not current, or incomplete.

4 Products & Pricing

We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing. However:

• Product images are for illustrative purposes and may slightly differ from the actual product.
• Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹/INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
• We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
• In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

5 Prescription Medicines

Certain products on our Platform are classified as prescription medicines and are governed by the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and the Pharmacy Act, 1948:

• You must upload a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner for prescription-only medicines.
• Prescriptions must be legible, dated, and include the doctor's registration number.
• We reserve the right to verify prescriptions and may refuse to fulfil orders if the prescription is invalid, expired, or unverifiable.
• Our pharmacist may contact you for clarification regarding your prescription.

6 Orders & Payment

Order Placement: Placing an order on our Platform constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including product availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.

Payment Methods: We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash on Delivery (COD) — available in select serviceable areas.
• Online Payment — via Razorpay payment gateway, supporting UPI, credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets.

Payment Security: All online payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not store your card details or banking credentials on our servers. All transactions are encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS technology.

Order Confirmation: Upon successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation via email and/or SMS with your order details and tracking information.

7 Shipping & Delivery

• Delivery is available within our serviceable pin codes. You can check serviceability on the product page.
• Estimated delivery time is 24–48 hours for most orders within serviceable areas. Actual delivery times may vary.
• Shipping charges, if applicable, will be displayed at checkout before order confirmation.
• Risk of loss and title for products passes to you upon delivery.

8 Returns & Refunds

• Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for eligible products.
• Medicines and pharmaceutical products cannot be returned once delivered, as per government regulations, unless they are damaged, defective, or incorrect.
• Refunds for eligible returns will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
• For COD orders, refunds will be credited to your bank account or wallet.

9 Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, software, and design — is the property of Ayurvedic Chikitsalaya or its licensors and is protected under Indian intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, or publicly display any content without our prior written consent.

10 Prohibited Activities

When using our Platform, you agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's security, servers, or networks.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to collect data from the Platform.
• Resell products purchased from our Platform without prior written consent.
• Submit false or fraudulent orders or prescriptions.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Ayurvedic Chikitsalaya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or network failures.

12 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ayurvedic Chikitsalaya, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Platform.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third-party rights.
• Any content or information you submit to the Platform.

13 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Purnia, Bihar, India.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiations for a period of at least 30 days.

14 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting on this page. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
